A few questions:
If i buy an ngage and get a few games and then buy an MMC card can i put all the games on this card as to stop the problem of having to change games?
Will it come with the required stuff to transfer files to a MMC card from a PC or do i need something else to do this?
MMC Card q's
The games for the N-Gage sold on read-only MMCs will not work when just copied to another MMC.
There are some illegal cracks for most of the games, but such topics of discussion are not welcome on this forum.
I will not mention that then, not in any way trying to break the law, what about the software to put your own stuff on the mmc is this all provided?
All is provided; you can put stuff on the MMC directly from the PC via the USB cable provided (the MMC should appear as a new drive on your PC when you connect).
You can also install applications and trandfer files over Bluetooth short-range wireless radio connection, but your PC must then have a Bluetooth adapter.
The PC Suite application for the N-Gage (that comes with the phone, or can be downloaded from http://www.n-gage.com/) works only with Bluetooth, not the USB cable connection (which, as mentioned, only provides access to the memory card).
whats the pc suite thing do? i mean are there many extra feaures?
The primary use of PC Suite is to synchronize the phone's contacts/calendar with a PC (running Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Outlook Express, Lotus Notes or Lotus Organizer), and for phone backup/restore to/from PC.
It can also be used to transfer audio/image/video files to/from PC, and install applications when the installation file resides on the PC. However, that can also be done via other means as well (e.g., the USB cable connection).
When you get the phone (if you haven't already), read the User's Guide. 😉
