How to stop mRouter stealing USB Modem COM port?

This is really frustrating... mRouter just seems to want to tie up any and every COM port on my machine, including the one used by my USB Modem.

I even changed the COM port my modem uses but mRouter just followed suit. I have to manually go into mRouter properties and unselect the COM port used by my modem and then it works fine, until I restart.

I have tried changing the entry in the registry but it just resets that too... I am tempted to change it then remove myself or the system from having write permissions to that specific key, but that is just silly and will likely cause mRouter to complain.

Anyone know how to force mRouter to ignore certain COM ports when it starts?

Stop mrouter from starting up on startup.

Then just create a shortcut to launch it when you require it.

Shortcut location: C:\Program Files\Intuwave\Shared\mRouterRunTime\mRouterRunTime.exe

Actually that is a really good idea, should have thought of that. I only connect to my phone occassionally so that will do as a work around. Thanks!
