MMS sending failed

2 replies · 4,418 views · Started 24 March 2004

I try to send a MMS message but get a:
"Message sending failed" error.

When asking details, I get the following message:
"Multimedia: Unknown or invalid address. Check the address."

so my question is: What address is it ? recipient ? MMSC address ?

any help is welcome... I certainly missed a step during the configuration of my handset ...

Thanks in advance.

Regards,

Pierre

Hi,

Your best option is to go to the Nokia web site and search out wap/mms settings.
From there you can have the correct settings for your phone SMS'd to you as a message and then save to settings.
It will ask you waht phone model you have, what provider etc. Fill out all the information and then a text will be sent to your hanset.

I've had similar problems in the past with both my old 7650 and the 6600 I have now, but a simple trip to the site and sending the correct settings normally fixes it.

If you can't find your provider on the Nokia site

just call your provider to sent you the MMS setting and also some provider required you to activate the MMS service before you can use it

so just a suggestion try to call up your provider and ask what is needed to set up the MMS
