hide sms

I'm sure there's a software called MumSMS that does this.
I saw it on a friend's phone but he uses only warez so asking him for the homepage proved to be a really good joke to him. (I mean really good, he laughed for 2 mins)
Searching for it I found only pages in Thai and Russian so I can't direct you to a webpage.

There is a program called gina for the 6600 i cant remember where i downloaded it from but it does excatly what your looking for it works perfect for me.

This app looks very useful, thanks for telling me about it 😊

Gina is good apps. It works but something really bother me. You cant filter all sms, you have to add numbers and than only sms or calls from that number are protected. Also there is no notification that some sms or calls have been filtered. That way you have always to open Gina to see if there is something new.
Otherwise the application works good.
I also got mumSMS but I haven't tried it out.

MumSMS can do it for you. I have got it from handango.
It's very good for its's "public list mode". that means all SMS will be hide except only it from the public list.
and the "prefix" can be added in to the lists. for example if you add '533' in secret list, then all the sms from tel no. with the beginning of '533' (such as 53385621 5330025.. etc. ) will be hidden.

MumSMS did not disabled my ringtone/vibrating alert when receiving an SMS that is filtered..

I used SpamKiller for a while and when enabling it, it made my phone stopping announcing that I received an SMS for filtered/not filtered numbers.. no alert at all with SpamKiller ..

This is a key issue that I think is not managed yet ...

Try using some blacklist and whitelist program :con? (I forgot what they're called) as an alternative to gina, but gina is also ok.

you can download it and other pretty application, they look so pretty good.

The newest version 5.1 of Private call is perfectly, lots of functions include hiding the private information like SMS、call log and files. deleting the record from log, controling the incoming call, recording phone call...
