It depends on when you're from actually. It's a case of covering all bases in legal terms. It may be a bit over zealous but it's me who would get into trouble.
The moderators are just following my guidelines. That said it might be time for a review of some things (e.g. unlocking).

The current AAS policy is that unlocking is a subject we do not want raised on the board. In the same way we don;t link to warez sites and boards, we don't link to unlocking sites and boards.
