Sega Rally "delayed indefinitely"

After being promised by our Official UK N-Gage Supplier that Sega Rally would be out on April 9th, we have now been informed that it has been "delayed indefinitely", and that there have been no further announcements at this time. Marcel Desailly Pro Soccer is still supposedly due for the April 9th.

Thanks for letting us know Barn.

It's a real shame as it was one of the games I was looking forward to playing with.

pufff.. nokia come on, don't do that to us... I was waiting for this game. I hope other games' fates won't be like Sega Rally. I was so happpy when read that Nokia will release approximately 100 titles until christmas, but i am so anxious about this and future of N-Gage... :frown:

Could it be anything to do with Sega being worried about seeing cracked versions on Kazaa the next day?

I'm of the opinion that it's impossible to stop hacked versions appearing after a game is released (ditto on PC apps and suchlike), so I don;t think it';s that. My money is on two things

a) It's not ready - the playtesters blew it out the water.

b) Sega are worried that it won't be profitable (see EA's comments recently).

I hope it's a) and someone has quality control, but I bet it's b). Which is worrying as Sega have quite a few releases planned (Pocket Kingdom and Virtua Cop to name two).

No Way! Thats the one ive been waiting for the most. 😡

Hope this wont be the beginning of a trend, like most other Nokia products.
