One thing I am really missing is with the SX1 is real theme support like the Nokia 6600 has. That is the reason I started an online petition for the Siemens AG. Please take 20 seconds of your time and sign the petition!
SX1: Real Theme Support - Join the cause!
Buy and use SmartLauncher on the SX1 instead.
Siemens might do another Series 60 phone based on Series 60 2.0 that has themes support like the Nokia 6600, but I wouldn't ever expect them to upgrade the SX1 to Symbian OS 7.0s and Series 60 2.0 (which is what it'd take for the same theme support).
i would stay away frm smartlauncher........ it drains batt..... aint exactly stable for me.
SmartLauncher sucks. It's ugly as hell ( all the 60 skins I have seen so far! ) and it drains battery and it only changes the menu/icons but not the rest of the phone.
Oh well I can dream can't I 😉

So far over 150 people have signed up ( only takes a second ).
If it cannot be done system wise - at least we want a free software that can do it. Trigenix shows that it can be done without system slowdown!
Siemens should at least make that available for us ( for free ).

k2bk2bk2b,i agree with df99,you shouldn't hijack this thread if you had problems with the SX1,plus,you already posted this once,crossposting is against the rules.BTW:My guess is you were very unlucky.In the 7650 "era" there were always some people that had problems with their devices,i never did.Its same with the 6600 now,or any other device,some people are just unlucky,just browse the forum and see for yourself.
