have put trial version on phone but wont work it says i have to have transport for aol and icql or whatever dont know what to put

Yer i get this too !

I just put it on seen this post and got the same message ! now i cant even remove it as it dosnt want to ! keeps saying that there is something wrong with the installer !

DOH !

You have to setup ICQ and/or AOL access data before you use the programm. just put the same access data as you have on your desktop PC. Read the setup section of the user's manual.

(It is always useful to read the manual before you use a new program, which you have never used before)

You may have problems with uninstall if IM+ is still running. (Nokia 7650 doesn't end the program if you just switch to main menu You have to end the programm with the program internal exit menu)

If you can't exit because you have already started the uninstall process and programm doesn't respond just reset your phone by taking the battery out for a few seconds.

😃

Yeah I had the exact same problem until i read the instructions.

It is great soft but could do with better error messaging and a better menu layout. Apart from that though its really nice.

I'll be interested in this when it supports the MSN IM. I only use it because my friends are on it. If I had a choice, I drop it at once but they (my friends) don't know how to use anything that doesn't have weebles for icons :x

So RTFM (Read The F&*%$g Manual) is still applicable to Mobile phones ... just like, computers, video recorders, software of any sort. 8)

Is it just that most people in here never bothered ...
Interested in this but how is it billed? Is it just wap/data minutes online? or does it use gprs?
It'll probably use whichever Access Point you want, so the charge method will be up to you.

Yes, IM+ supports any available Access Point, you can connect to internet even through IR or Bluetooth and PC with internet connection.

We are working at MSN support now it will be available in one of the next versions.

So I found out!

It's great I've been downstairs in the office with my bluetooth connector plugged in my PC and sending messages away from my desk 😊

I'll register it tonight..

It rocks!

Well done guys with the file size too!

However, thought about releasing smaller versions?
EG ICQ only, AOL only, or all of the messaging systems.

Just a thought due to lack of memory : \

Just went to order it but it asks for a:

HotSync ID/Registration ID*

😮ops:

What the frig is that!

well i have installed it read instructions 3 times now i have uninstalled it i use orange pay as u go it just says conection to aol failed then closes my phone i thought if i register it might work but it needs reg code where do i get that from... looks good if it works.. shame it dont on my phone any detailed info on what goes where might work.... waps ok the connection is alright there ...

Many GPRS provider may limit the number of available services for price models with low/ without monthly charge. E.g. Vodafone Germany limits it to WAP and Email services for models without monthly charge. IM+ wont be able to connect through GPRS in this case.

IM+ requires AOL /ICQ services (ports) to be available. Since these services are not normally included in any limited pricing models you have to choose those without any service limits, or just use (fast) GSM (which might be pretty expensive).

To get the registration code you have to purchase IM+ from one of distributors (e.g. handango.com) and then send us your installation code (see manual)

We can't give you any exact dates.
MSN support is planned for October.

Separate versions for each messenger are not planned yet.
