Post
We have developed a new application for symbian phones which allows the user to send a voice message to other (all) mobiles and landlines.

To work efficiently, our app has to allow for the voice mail answering systems provided by GSM operators. And to get this right we need some info on this.
Simply put we need to know how long the fixed (GSM operator) voice mail message is (before you get a chance to talk ie leave a personal message).

At the moment we think the longest is T-Mobile UK which is a staggering 22 seconds (are they nuts?). But who knows (we don't) maybe there is an even longer one out there somewhere.

Because we need this info for every operator in every EU country + Australia + USA we would dearly like some help (according to the GSM association there are 64 or so in the USA and several in each EU country). Therefore...

We would like to offer a free copy of our application to any person who gives us info on any GSM operator in these jurisdictions (one app per operator = first come, first served) and a special prize of 100 for whoever discovers which operators message is the longest. (payble when we have a full list and know for sure which is longest)

So far our application runs on the 7650 / 3650 (later versions) / 3660 / 6600 / 9210 and is scheduled for release in Q2;

Last, but not least, if anyone would like to help us road test our app they'll get it free as well (this is limited in number and separate from the above).

Many thanks - and honest, our baby will not disappoint you.

ps - this is our first post so we're not sure how all this works. if possible leave your email address in with your reply, or if you like send your reply direct to us at
