Hi,

Does any one know if it is possible for the 6600 to connect to a dial up internet connection (eg an ISP or an Windows RAS server) to gain internet access?

Having changed my contract to get the phone upgraded, they have change the "inclusive minutes" so they now donot include WAP calls that previousely were.....
So I'm looking to be able to use my inclusive minutes to connect to the internet
VIA a landline number (eg a computer @ home running a RAS server and connected to my ADSL line) instead, so I don't have have to pay for the time i'm using to check emails etc...

If not, is it posible to turn a win2K3 PC in to a dail up wap gateway or somthing??

(If only they would make a bolt-on flatrate GPRS package that was affordable, like ADSL/broadband just for mobiles.....).

Lastly, are there any VPN clients avalible for the 6600 that can connect to M$ VPN servers?

Cheers

For the dial-up issue, just creat an access point using your ISP's settings and select GSM Data as bearer. Some operators exclude data calls from the free "inclusive minutes" so you should double check with yours.

Search the shop for movian VPN Series 60

Are calls to an analouge modem a data call? I was assuming it would be the same as using my handset as an irmodem (for the computer)?

Can I connect my nokia 7610 to pc via DKU-2 cable and control the desktop,my computer etc. using my phone ? 🙄

Someone please tell me how to do it.....

Thanx in advance................
