Just received my shiny new Jabra 250 from Amazon. After pairing it with my 6600, I was amazed at the amount of crackling. It's still usable, but very annoying and makes it quite difficult to hear the caller. Is this a common problem? From what I've read, people have been raving about this headset/phone combo. I'm going on a long, 6 hour journey tomorrow and was hoping to use it whilst in the car. If anyone has any advice, I'd really appreciate it (this afternoon if possible!)

Mine does not crackle, sounds perfect.
Only starts to get interference when the headset and phone are too far apart from each other.
But phone in pocket or other side of room and certainly in the car there should be no interference.
I've heard that wireless networks can interfear with bluetooth but never experienced it, are you testing in an office that has a wirerless LAN perhaps?

Yes I am - loads and loads of wireless stuff here, but I never thought it could affect BT. I'll go and try it outside 😮

Prob find it'll be ok outside - if not then your headset is knacked mate 😞
Also - worth reading on Jabra site about the workround for the BT bug on the Nokia 6600 firmware, it'll give your headset bettery life.
