I've recentely returned my Jabra BT-250 headset to the store due to it's poor performance with my nokia 6600. Whenever I was using the headset on my right ear and holding the phone with my left hand, I got so many statics noises I was almost unable to hear the voice on the other side. At first I though the fault lays with the specific Nokia model so I've checked with other BT cell phone such Nokia 6310i and Sony Ericsson T68i and the same problem persist.
Does anyone have good experience with a BT headset and the Nokia 6600 phone?
How about Motorola HS-810?
I played around with my friends Jabra headset and it worked fine, i could walk away from my 6600 and still hear my conversation, and i had a motorola headset (can't remember which number) which was all right except it loosely hung on my ear. The Jabra is a snug fit.

I too could walk away from the phone with the Jabra 250 thought whenever an object was in between (even my body at 1 m distance) there were terrible statics.
So my question is for a specific situation - wearing the headset on the right ear and holding the phone with my left hand.
I know it may sound stupid but I use to do that a lot!!!

Already read this one. No specific reference to my problem. I didn't have any pairing/poor battery problems.
