can anyone enlighten me how to format a MMC card?
I put my MMC card into the card reader, the cause the computer to crash.
I try to format the card on my 6600, it doesn't format it altough it indicates formating completed.
The MMC card that i have is NCP 256Mb.
Pls provide me some solutions... :?
When you format it on the phone, what files are being left on the card? The folder "system" can not be removed.
Otherwise it sounds like you've got a dodgey mmc.

Yup the files n folders are remained in the system itself. But the images are not removed too. But when i try to format the mmc card using my friend computer, it hangs too... But when i use the nokia 32Mb mmc card, it works fine.
Hmm... i was wondering does the problem lies with my mmc card. Is there anyway of checking the mmc card is working well?
Try formatting it in another S60 device. (3650)
I had a very simular problem with one of my n-gages, the only way round was to use another device to format it.
