BlueTooth File Transer....only one way?

2 replies · 1,518 views · Started 12 April 2004

Do any of you find it strange (or aggravating) that the P900 will not send files to a bluetooth enabled device, e.g. a laptop? I have a Siemens SX1, and with it I can send pictures I have taken to my PC for processing via BlueTooth, which is a great feature. I have not been able to find this feature on my P900; from what I can see, it can only "receive" files. For as much as this phone costs, don't you all think that this would be a feature that is essential...2 way file transfer?
Does anyone know if this is planned for a future OS upgrade?

Thanks,

I'm not sure if I get your point right, but you can send any file via BT, if you want to send a picture, select it and then click Pictures ==> Send as ==> Bluetooth.

That should do the trick!

You can use the filemanager to send other files. Hope that helped. :icon14:

WOW

you made my day!

I had never before found that menu setting.

Now I tried it and worked just fine!

Thanks so much 😊
