I can't sent e-mail from Nokia 6600. When I want sent e-mail, mail go to folder outbox and get status queued. I can't sent mail from this folder.
Nokia 6600 - can't send mail form outbox
Make sure your outgoing SMTP server is set to your operator's SMTP server, and that the email access point is a GPRS Internet Access Point with full Internet access (and that your subscription from your operator allows full Internet access).

SMTP server and APN is correct. :?
Does your smtp server require a password and username, because the email client on the 6600 is crap and doesn't give you the option to include them.
It also still doesnt support IMAP folders. Good to know Nokias been putting lots of effort in since the release of the 7650 2 years ago. They really are just coasting.

My SMTP server does not require a password and username.
Are you sure you have specified your cellular network operator's/carrier's SMTP server?
It cannot be your ISPs SMTP server, because it will in all likelihood not allow access from your operator assigned IP addresses.
As to the APN: Do other Internet (TCP/IP) apps like, e.g., Opera work? If so, the APN is correct. If Opera doesn't work either, then there's something wrong with the APN.

Had similar thing happen to me. My default Mailbox is pointing at
my default T-mobile account, which I haven't set up yet.
I was on the that (wrong) Mailbox when I composed a message once and
it behaved just as you described. Check with your service provider
what settings you should have set on your default Mailbox, it pretty
much sounds like you're not configured yet.
I have another Mailbox pointing at my ISP (which I run). I use SMTP and IMAP
with STARTTLS on that mailbox and can send/receive mail securely with
my personalized Mailbox just fine.
The IMAP user-interface side is a rather dodgy. Lack of IMAP subfolders,
sorts mail on header Date without converting timezone, no alternative
sorting options. However, I'm fairly impressed with the underlying
protocol support.

That's funny, mine does. I use it daily. My phone version is: V 4.09.1 signed 26-02-04.
No LDAP folder support, though. And not being able to save mail content outside
of the messaging app is really lame. "Forward" helps, but that's a kludge solution.

Strange. Mine definitely doesnt have a specific outgoing mail username and password field. I thought maybe it used the same password and username as the incoming mail but I still couldnt get it to send through the Fastmail server.

I get exactly the same thing. Tried Yahoo! email (but I think you need to pay to get POP3 service). Tried my personal domain and it didn't work. Tried changing access point settings to no avail. T-Mobile web site and Nokia documentation are not helpful and the T-Zones service is very sluggish. Is there someone who has written up a good instruction for setting up the Access Point and Mailbox settings?

BTW, there is a link, but it only applies to the UK market. We need one for T-Mobile in the states... http://www.filesaveas.com/series60connect.html
I just went through this w/ T-Mobile USA so let me see if this works.
I have
V 4.09.1 26-02-04 NHL-10 (T-Mobile) USA T-Zones Unlimitted
(btw, right now t-zones is messed up where I am)
*note* before you do this set up your email account online w/ my t-zones
1) You need to make sure your access point is configured correctly (not what was ota'ed to you or what came as default
so:
Menu>Tools>Setting>Connection>Access points
Select whichever one is your default for t-zones (it may be called t-zones or t-zones GPRS or t-zones GPRS (01)) there is a bug in the ota replace default software for when you get new access points so it's a good idea to set any bookmarks you ever make to use the default ap.
Click to open. Mine is called:
T-Zones GPRS
Details:
GPRS, wap.voicestream.com, User name: None (if your's says Nokia then you MAY have a different ap which has None. None is the correct current configuration), No password Prompt, Password **** (which is supposed to be nothing but I wouldn't mess w/ it), Authentication NORMAL (if this says secure change it to Normal). Homepage: http://wap.myvoicestream.com
Click Options and go to advanced.
Details: Automatic, 0.0.0.0,0.0.0.0,216.155.165.050,8080
2) Set up your mailbox again. Go to Messaging then hilite the mailbox icon
Options>Settings>E-mail
Click the Mailboxes selection at the top (the one that looks empty, not the one w/ your email-box name in it)
Options>Edit
Mailbox name (whatever just don't make it too long)
AP: Same as what you did in step 1
e-mail: the email address you set up on the t-mobile website (including @<domain>.<tld>
Outgoing mail server: myemail.t-mobile.com
Send Message (Try immediately if you're getting queue's)
Copy to self (I have it off)
Include signature (I have it off)
Username (in this case I'm using earthlink so it's )
Password (that account password)
Incoming Mail server (your isp's incoming mail server. ex pop.earthlink.net)
Mailbox type (POP3)
Security (This may be set to TLS Transport Layer Security) try off
APOP Secure login off
That should do it
If you can't send look at your ISP to see if there is a SMTP Secureauth. Earthlink has one, but I can still send through the t-mobile system.
Problems I have (t-zones is slow) my attachments are getting broken in two. Any ideas?
Good luck
