Hi,
Whats your battery time on your 7650?

Mine dont even hold 24hour! And then I have Bluet. OFF, GPRS OFF, Infrared OFF..

Only recive 1-2 calls...
Dont even use the camera or somethng lika that...

Is that normal? I have to charge it every afternoon...!

Does anyone have an e-mail adress to Nokia (English or Swedish/finnish)
Pls post your comments/answers here..

Joakim, Sweden

umm.. is this your first time charging or ...

mine if i using for game and call the battery just last for one day

but if just using for call and sms 1.5 days or so...

Hi my pervious 7650 battery life is also very short but the ringer is very loud. I throught it was normal until one day (8 day after purchase) that the bluetooth cannot start. I bought it back to Nokia service center and they reloaded the operating system. During the process the phone clashed and they told me there is nothing they can do except to change the rom. My phone was in the service center for 3 day and i cannot take it anymore and demanded a 1 to 1 exchange. They change for me a new phone and on the first day my camera give me hardware error-restart camera error. I bought it back and they changed the camera and until now about 2 weeks plus is still ok. Compare to my last 1 the ringer is softer but the battery life is very long. I can go 2.5 normal day before i need a charge. I just want to caution anyone having short battery life to test out the phone function (bluetooth, Infra red) once in a while to make sure the phone is ok. If some function is NG maybe the phone is going to clash.

Thank u for reading... Just my bad experience with Nokia

Regard....Kong

Play games and get about two calls a day. Use Gprs two or three times a day for both wap and email. Lasts about 2.5 days. Lucky I guess :P

Mine lasts about 2.5 days as well ... but I leave it on all the time (I use the alarm clock on the WorldClock from PSI 😉

MINE LAST 1 DAY for normal use
about 45 calls, 50 sms, 30 minute games or camera 😞
but wait my 8310 battery seems to longer lasting
believe it or not i use a network monitor to check the battery voltage, and i found out that the original battery on my 8310 is 900 mah capacity, whilke my 7650's has only 725 mah.
Its weird though causew both have the same model type, BLB-2 ???

..will my phone crash after some days?? you wrote "Clash" what is that? same as crash?

Hmm.. I dont use Bluetooth anything but It would be a good idea to check it.. 😊

My battery just last for 1,0 day with just 1 call recieved (4min 0sec) :/ thats what I think is bad!

HI,
Sorry spelling mistake. But yes my last phone was like less than 1 day standby time also and i thought it was ok. luckily it gave the bluetooth error or i would not have exchange it. Nokia also couldn't find out what was the fault and keep telling me they need to monitor for a few more day. After 3 days when i call them they gave me all kinds of excuse and i demanded a exchange which they at first refused but agree later because they can't solved the problem in the period which we agreed on. Now it is ok and i think i will not buy another Nokia phone again. Maybe the phones nowaday are too feature rich that they are not stable anymore. 😞

Well its a fact the battery life isnt fantastic, you may want too look at a 900mha hi cap battery, but one day for such lil use is pretty poor.

My question would be did you go through the charge cycles? It needs to be completely run down then FULLY charged up 3-4 times before your getting the max outta ya battery.

Eitherway, my battery goes down from Full to one bar, with 4 hours of GPRS/WAP but it says in the book that doing that will deplete the battery fast.

But on a normal day I get 2 days outta it, not really anymore but 2 days
thats with, say a call, few sms, regulkar use of the camera, and GPRS to check email and send MMS, oh and play a cpl games.

Hi! Your sooo lucky your 7650 has a net monitor software! Can you please tell us how you got the NET MONITOR in your 7650? Please attach the installer, or.sis, or .jar file of the Net Monitor. Thanks in advance! 😃

that's why i always got a spare battery with me! ( large pockets you know ) and it doesn't bother me! i have 2 1000 mAh batteries, so it lasts about 30-40% more than the original batteries!! 😃

mine lasts about 20 hours, i have bluetooth alwayz on, torch is alwayz on, im constantly using bluetooth to transfer files, play my wav ringtones (extremely loud btw), play stackup, make/recieve a few calls and constantly using the video camera.

but for me its good becuz the battery drains 2 hours before i go to sleep every day so just enuff time to charge b4 i sleep, then i switch it on b4 i sleep.

Here's a great tip for saving your battery power...
Set you screensaver to 1 minute. The screensaver is only drawing a strip across the screen, so the phone is using less power as it's colouring only the strip of pixels on the LCD.
Oh, and if you can get a better battery. Mines over a 1000mha (either 1100 or 1200 not sure) A better battery can last you 3 days or so, and thats with quite a lot of picture taking and game playing.

I get over 2 days worth of average use (2-3 phone calls a day, 2-3 SMS, use Bluetooth quite a bit)

Wonder if it's an issue with the batteries or whether some 7560's are a bit more power hungry...?

I think that there is some older sim cards that consume more battery power.

Dont know if its just a rumour though.

your usage is very minimal, that's why your battery lasts longer. i make about 5-7 call/day and about 20-30 sms everyday. my battery is good for 1 day on the average. oh, btw, games.. games.. games... 😃

rumors. battery wouldn't have anything to do with battery consumption.

The battery consump very fast so Nokia design a screen saver which turn off 90% of the screen display power (Only single line used).
So end up with a boring screen saver as many people complain.
& means that if u uses the screen saver other than the Nokia default will definately shorten the battery life.(More fun more work to charge)

I set my screen saver time at 1minute & using the Nokia datetime screen saver . My 7650 last for 1.5 days with gaming/incoming call & web sufing.

If I used other screen saver or set the timeout >1 minute , it last for 8 hr only.

Anyway, it is a failure of the 7650.

if you want to use the psiloc screen saver u can set the sleep mode to "1 hour" so at least it goes back to default after that period. you are in one way saving batt and another enjoying nice screen savers! 😃
