Not able to create backup

i am not able to create the back
not on memory card
and not in computer

1. when i make the back up in memory card
it stopd in between when it is saying"creating backup file"
and when i go in backuo folder there is nothing

2and hwn i create back up in computer then its say afyer few min
and "unexpected error has occured"

wht should i doo i can't format my MMc nor phone becoz it has many many imp file
wht should i do.

Bit of a pain this,

I had to re install pc suite,then it worked.

i have done this also
and i have tried through infraed and bluetooth both

Hi,
Can u backup ur MMC to PC first (to preserve ur MMC contents), then work on solving the "backup phone memory to MMC" problem? With this, u can consider formating MMC as an option too.

Personally, I find the following better than backup via BT:

1) Backup phone memory to MMC
2) Backup MMC to PC

This is less prone to errors and is a lot faster than backup of 6600 using BT. Often, restoring a backup from BT may also cause problems.
