How can I change the behaviour of the right-hand softkey? I got my phone from Orange, and the key goes directly to their home page. I don't need this.

You need to have the phone reflashed with a "generic" firmware release, instead of an Orange-specific one.
Thats incorrect, I am with Orange and I can easily change the function that the softkeys by going to
Tools > Settings > Phone > Standby Mode
In there you will see the current functions assigned to the softkeys and you can click on and change them from there.
Anyone know how to assign a custom application to the softkeys? I've installed Flexicam but it doesn't appear on the list of available apps assignable to the softkey?
Buy TaskMan then you can assign it to the directional keys afterwards..
