I bought that usb dongle and it is made in taiwan. It comes with the widcomm soft. and drivers. The device is paired properly with my pc and nokia 3650, however when I try to connect the bluetooth serial port it keeps saying its on com0 blah blah, therefore, it wont work!!!
I have even tried to send a file directly to my phone using the "send to" menu in windows xp, it connects to the phone but the file transfer just stops and times out!!!

Would it make any difference if I connected the dongle to a usb hub?
Ok, it works now, only problem is getting the bluetooth serial port to stop saying com0...
