I recently bought a nokia 6600 but I haven't been able connect to the nokia software. I can connect to my pc though my belkin bluethooth usb thing and I can send and receive files but when I try to use the nokia connection manager I get an error message when I click on bluetooth icon saying "media type not supported. Check your system for media settings.". I've tryed creating a bluetooth serial port but when I try I get an error message but then a few seconds after it connects and then when I try to connect to the nokia connection manager under serial port it won't find the phone. I've tryed all the ports under advance but still no luck. I downloaded the updated version from the nokia website with the registry cleaner and then uninstaller my old software and installed the new one but to no avail.

I had exact same problem - reformatted my PC (for another reason) and it worked first time. There are spyware, firewall and numerous other things that can cause it not to work.
