Can some one please help me out here ! I am more than confused to state the least as if you see the picture below it states that i have my 2 upgraded software items from EpocWare on there twice each ! The log shows old version removed but rather than the manager showing one install it shows 2 and looks to be using more memory !
I am considering backing up my phone and deleting one set of them ( hopefully get the new ones 😉 ) and seeing waht happens ! just wanted to know if anyone else had the answer to this first tho !

EpocWare have a clever way of upgrading software. When you installed the upgrade, you should have left your phone alone for a few minutes and the upgrade yuo installed would write itself over the original (older) version and then remove itself.
I was caught out by this one, never thought that a developer would try and take out the need for manual user intervention 😉
so i messed it up ! ?
Should i have left my phone in front of the infra red longer and not touched it after the upgrade you mean !
The log does however state that the software has been removed but still shows in manager !

The upgrade procedure for Handy Safe (the same is true for the rest of Epocware titles):
1. You must have the full version of Handy Safe installed on your phone (the old version that you want to upgrade).
2. Start the installation of the upgrade (HandySafeUpgrade.sis) from the PC or from the Message application on the phone (if you already transferred it to the phone over infrared or Bluetooth).
The upgrade (HandySafeUpgrade.sis) consists of two parts: 1) the small "upgrade application" (Handy Upgrade), which is the same for all Epocware upgrades and 2) the installation package with the new version of Handy Safe (HandySafe.sis).
3. When you install the upgrade application on the phone, it will check that you have the full version of Handy Safe installed and will automatically start the installation of the new version of Handy Safe.
4. When the installation is done, the upgrade application will clean up all the needless files (except some files that occupy less than 15 KB).
