Blue tooth - I know an old subject but pls help !!

I know this is a familiar subject (been down this road with a 7650 before) but now I'm stumped.

Baisc problem is laptop will not connect to my 6600 by bluetooth.

I have a Sitecom CN500 dongle. I have uninstalled and reinstalled all the software for the Nokia PCsuite and the Sitecom using latest versions and used the Nokia registry cleaner.
I have disabled my onboard modem as suggested in other posts.

So symptoms are - Go to Blue tooth places and search for devices - the 6600 comes up fine and I can pair no problems. Search for available services gives Bluetooth Serial Port, Dialup Networking, Fax, OBEX object transfer and OBEX object push (whatever the last two are). All seems fair.

Right click on Bluetooth icon in tray and select "Advanced Configuration" and look under "Local Services Tab" - Bluetooth serial Port is on COM 5. Look under Client Services and Bluetooth Serial Port is on COM 6. Niether of these can be changed.

Right click MRouter icon and go to properties and two bluetooth ports are available - COM 5 and 6 - I've checked both.

Go to the My Bluetooth places and the available services window - Right click the Serial Port on 6600 icon and do properties - shows COM port as 6 but everything is greyed out.

Double clicking the Serial Port Icon sets off the usual messages and the phone even asks to accept the connection but the connection is always disconnected.

WTF IS GOING ON

Someone pls help me - I'm on my second pack of valium........

Hello,

I have some kind of similar problem with a Mitsumi dongle, but it was because I work under Windows XP, and I never had a chance to make it work, sorry,..
