I have a 3650, and the other day I took it out of my pocket only to find out it was not switched on, and when i tried to switch it on it just displayed the nokia logo then cut out, doing this a few times. I would just take it back to the shop where I bought it, except that I bought it from a friend of mine who bought it in England (I live in Guernsey in the Channel Islands). Any way I was wondering if theres anything I could do that might fix it. A friend suggested it might need a software upgrade, but he is usually wrong...
Thanks for any advice anyone can give!
PS. I don't speak phone-talk so explanations of anything out of the ordinary would be appreciated!!
my 3650 goes like that when it needs to be recharged.
this is exactly what it does when the battery is empty - it won`t open anymore.
plug the recgherger in the phone then try to open it - it won`t open but it will start recharging.
Good luck,

I've had it on charge all morning but it hasn't fixed it! Thanks for replying though

I once fixed mine when it had a similar issue, described in this older forum post. You might give my solution a try. (I never had problems after that once.)

If that lets your phone successfully restart, you might search the forums and learn how to reformat the phone. You will lose all contacts, messages, and apps that are on the phone (but not the memory card). But this might also clean any installed software that is causing the problem. As I would suspect is the case.

I just tried this, but it did not fix the problem. It did seem to flicker less though... Thanks for trying
Same thing happened to my Nokia 3650. I had it fully charged in the morning. Next thing I knew, the phone was off. I tried turning it back on, but it shows a faded Nokia logo a few times with some horizontal lines, and powers off. I tried a new battery, but still can't power it up. Sending it back to my provider for a replacement now.
Same thing happened to me-- I had to have it replaced.
