i have a simple question to you:
What do you think about themes which are brandett by the theme-creator?
Mangothemes is the biggest "brander" i think. But it sucks in themes for which i have paid. Paid themes must be unbranded i think.
I brand my themes to, but i brand cause the themehunters in the web publish my themes under other creator-names, so i can show that the theme was originally made by me.
What do you think about this?

My themes will be made unbranded and will cost 4 euro's max.
But still the copyright remains so you still aren't alloud to share
them on the internet.
I'm just nervous that if i won't brand them everyone will start
sharing them. :frown:

equinox got a good point in there.. my opinion is i would brand my themes but not that much.. like the pop up windows with your name on it.. in that case the theme wouldn't be filled with your name but still would be branded.. ( man, did i said it right :? )
yes you did! Lol Confusing isn't it? But That is an great idea but the name shouldn't be to big or maybe an little logo or sign. Ill see what i will do!

my branding is in the favorites-menu, this menu is the not used very often
I dont think it makes much difference really coz if someone wants to rip off a theme it is so easy to take it apart and change anything anyway.
What is the big deal in people ripping "Free" themes off anyway,no one is losing as no one is getting paid. And a lot of people cant really say too much anyway,as soon as something Free is posted here (legal or not) everyone seems to jump.
The words POT and BLACK spring to mind.
Mango brand their themes just as every other company does,you wouldnt want a pair of Nike trainers without the tick would you?

You see I wouldn't give a F**k about it if anyone would rip an theme from me that is free BUT this is about themes that are being paid for! I would be VERY VERY pissed and angy if anyone would try to rip an theme from me that is made for commercial ends. (dunno if that is correct english but me= Dutch 😃 )

Thats why i emphasized the word "FREE" in earlier post 😊
None of the people above "SELL" their themes.
I too would be pizzed off if i were selling mine and someone was ripping but i bet no one here could say they have never downloaded an mp3 for example!
Of course that is a different story and one we shouldnt go into here. 😉
remcokatz, be prepared to be angry cos if your themes are any good, they'll show up on the net like quite a lot of the mango ones are! i'm not saying it's right, it'll just happen.

I know but i�ll try to join AEFOX and all the others in there battle against Warez and illegal sharing of themes when that happens!
