Hi to all ...

http://www.wirelesssoftware.info/articles/bluetooth4nokia7650ipaq/

I've read on the site how to set up the a connection on my ipaq, to use the 7650 as a GPRS modem and as a proxy for the internet, using the bluetooth connection between the 2 devices ...

The connection in made through the BLUETOOTH DIALUP MODEM, so, at the ISP NUMBER question, a *99# was given.

I've tryed to make the same as described, but my phone, doesn't connect on the GPRS network and nothing happens during the dialing.

Does anybody use an ipaq 3870 with a 7650 to go on the net via GPRS ???

THANK'S ... CIAO "!"!"!"!"!"!"

On my PC I have to add the following modem initialisation string, on PPC you will find this by clicking the <Advanced> button on the modem properties;

+CGDCONT=1,"IP","<gprs ap name>";

replace <gprs ap name> with the access point name for your operator e.g. on O2 in the uk it is "wap.o2.co.uk".

Note that the semi-colon on the end may or may not be needed.

that's right ... adding that string in the modem propertyes, i can made the connetion.

Thank's .... Ciao
