Firmware Upgrade

Hi,
I just bought a SX1 and checked that its running ver 6.0
I have downloaded the latest self update from the Siemen site and I want to know if I need to uninstall the Data Suite before proceeding with the update.

I don't think so.
Just switch off the phone. Then, connect the phone to computer with the USB cable. After that, hold down the center key and switch on the phone. Next, click start on the firware upgrade software on computer.
If it's OK, the upgrade process will start.

By the way, the Data Suite on the web seems to be a newer version than that on CD-ROM. Installing it may eliminate some bugs...
