problem mayby virus

Did you install wildskinz and uninstall it without disabling it?If so,install it again,enable it,then disable it and uninstall.No that there should be a restart after installation,enable,disable.

The full legit version of Wildskinz works perfectly on the phone it was designed for... the 7650 😊 It stuffs up on all others without fail.

It did work without any problems on my 7650 too but i've never tried it on another phone and i just asumed it was a standard Series 60 app that should work on most Series 60 devices.Thanks for the info evobit.

Hey guys.... I think that u have to be very careful when installing new applications to your SX1 coz u have to know if those applications work correctly on your SX1 without damaging any thing else in it.... for example I've installed an application called MSVdrive on my SX1, this application was made to nokia 6600, and its job was to switch the inbox of the messages folder to the MMC so I can recieve any message without caring about its size, but what happened was that this application worked very well till I tried to send an MMS, here the SX1 began to give errors in MMS, so I had to remove that application and make a format to the C:\ directory, after that everything went okey and now my SX1 is sending MMSs without any problems but the annoying thing is that I still have to care about my inbox messages size 😡 , so if u know any safe application that can complete the job without any problems, I will be glad to share me your knowledge 😃 .

Another example is the FScaller application, this application works very well on phone, but when try to make a backup to the c:\ drive, the PC complete the backup process with one error, which is (contacs.cdb is not backed up) :con?

So this is y am telling u that u have to be sure about the applications u install on your device 😮

you have told that you formatted C: which is the phone memory. Plz, tell me how.

I have two errors:
1- the JAVA Ctrl application does not open and a message " Appl. closed MidpUi" appears.
2- When I backup my phone memory to memory card a message " Memory Card system error" appears.

My phone is updated to version 15 and I updated it again several times to retrieve the corrupted system files without success.

Please, tell me what can be done when some system or builtin apllication files is corrupted (such as radio, mp3 player).

For sure there is a solution as done with microsoft windows.

If u want to format the C: u simply switch off your phone and switch it on again in the format mode by pressing "#" + "*" + "turn on key" but u have to be sure that your phone battery is not out of charge (it's better to do this with battery full of charge).

And about the problems u r facing I think that u have to check the applications u've installed on your phone if they r safe or not, and if they r made to suit in SX1 or not (as I said some applications affect some functions in the phone that might not be related to those applications like the problem between MSVdrive and MMS)

But I think if tried to to format the C: drive the problems might be solved, but don't forget to keep in mind that the format process will delete everything on the c: drive permenantly 😮 , so don't forget to backup your contacts folder 😉

I have a little more inquiry, before this dramatical problem that occured to my phone each Java applicationton (xxxx.jar) has each specific icon on the desktop. But after this problem and formatting the phone, every thing works very well but all Java applications have the same Icon (computer Icon) but the applications work very good.While these Java apllications have their true icons in the JAVA Ctrl menu. But, all the Symbian applications (xxxx.sis) work very good and each has it own icon, that is, there are no problems at all with xxxx.sis applications.
Does any one has a solution to retrieve Java application icons to their original ones?

am sorry but i don't have much experience in java applications but i want to remind u that if u've installed your java applications on MMC u have to reinstall them again because if u don't they won't be included in the applications manager.
