Recurring alarms and downloading email

1. I've been hunting around the various archives, but have never been able to find an app that enables recurring alarms. I don't need a world clock or anything else to kill more precious RAM, just a little app that will allow me to set recurring alarms, if possible, using a ringtone instead of that godawful beeping.

2. Is there a way to configure the 7650 to only download message bodies and not attachments? It's not documented in the manual, and my GPRS bills are going to kill me

For recuring alarms with the smallest file size try system tools by www.psiloc.com but if you want to change the alarm sound as well you will also need something like extended profiles by the same company.

As for just receiving headers/bodies/or attachments and not the full email there is only one app that i know of and the first one i bought, try active mail by www.cibenix.com it cost $20 but does a whole lot more, well worth the money if you use email a lot

Thanks for the pointers. Will check out system tools by PsiLoc.

ActiveMail tends to be a bit on the large side, and certainly costs too much for what I need it to do. Thanks for the link tho 😊
