Rm / Rmvb

Hi All.

I've got a 6600 with Real One Player installed, and I've just sent off for a 128mmc & a bluetooth dongle. Now I have RealProducer and it can encode video in both CBR & VBR (constant bit rate & variable bit rate).

If I encode video in CBR high action has the same bitrate as low action and the results are generally crap so I really wanna encode in VBR, which anyone who's used realproducer will know gives you the extension 'RMVB'.

Has anyone tried 'rmvb' files in Real One Player for the 6600? I am aware that it needs to be encoded to RP8 standard too, but I'm just curious as to whether the rmvb works.

btw. I ask because I'm encoding some stuff to show off my fone :P and I'd like to be able to use VBR.

Also as a sidenote: with the 104mhz cpu would a video @ 20fps with a 200kbps video stream run smooth?

With the mobiclip codec maybe up to 24fps,with SmartMovie(xvid) you can get smooth 15 fps at high bitrates.
