Dead pixel ? Stuck pixel ? Or what is it ??

Hello,

yesterday I've discovered a pixel which I would rather describe as a 'strange pixel' since it doesn't behave like a dead pixel, nor like a stuck one.

* During startup the entire screen is WHITE, not 1 single pixel blinking or appearing in another color.

* During formatting every single pixel becomes BLACK..

* I do not have any problems with the default theme or any other theme where the toolbar at the bottom (Camera..........Go To) has a white or light background.

But as soon as I switch to a theme with dark background colors.. IT APPEARS !!
It is a green pixel located just one pixel to the left of the 'G' of 'Go To'.

But under certain conditions it disappears.

When I'm on Desktop, Goto, Menu, etc. it is visible.

But when I turn on the Camera, for example, it becomes visible when I use the Portrait mode.

In Night mode it becomes less visible and in Standard mode it disappears totally.

Has anyone any ideas on what this could be ?
If it would have been a dead or stuck pixel it woud have to stay on or off, or blink all the time, right ?

Pictures are attached.

Regards,

Hi..
One hour after i bought mine 6600 i realise the same prob that you have.
I went bakt to the store and they gave me other without those dead pixxels.
I phink it is a hardware screen problem.
So go exchange it to a new... :icon14:

Hey dude, I'm having the exact same problem as you. On Black backgrounds, I cant see it. When I"m on a bright theme or something , its obvious .

Funnily enough, black themes and also nokia greetings ( for games ) do not show as its black.

Kinda frustrating.

Same here !! This 6600 was a replacement for my trashed one so i think i will put up with it!! 😃 😃 😃
