Is there any way to transfer files from the PC or my 660 to the 7250i without using an IR adapter as i don't have one.

The 7250i is not running Symbian.The only connectivity options for the 7250i are IR and Cable.
well i cannot send stuff via IR to 7250i from 6600.

and u can't transfer data expect text data to 40 series
wheather from 40 series to 40 series
or from 60 series to 40 series.

It's smth like the difference between 6110 and 7110. They both had IR connection, but could not transfer ANYTHING between.
But, saying again, it's a simple software matter-of-fact.
Anyways, at the end, I agree, cannot transfer data between s60 and s40 devices, one would need a pc to carry media 😊[/FONT]
