I was wondering, with the video recorder will it be possible to play mp4 files such as movie trailers.
If you send a mp4 file to the phone and then use seleQ to put it in the videos folder on the c drive. I think it will be possible to play this now in the video recorder.
If this is possible I can convert DVD to avi and then to mp4.
The only problem will be the size of the files.
I'm going to try it with a short file of around 100k.
I can't try it at the moment as I am at work. But if someone else would try it.
Yep cannot see any reaon what so ever why it wouldnt work
but if were going to make use of this why waste it on movie trailers when we could really impress the boys and ya mates with some "Movie material of a more adult nature" on there *wink *wink
i wonder how big a full-feature film (avg 600mb divx/mp4) would be if we scale it down to 176x100 (or whatever the correct widescreen height would be), dither it to 10bit color skips a couple of frames per second and removed the music 😊 not very fun without sound though.
or maybe you could stream over gprs at 5kb/s 😊
lol video download over GPRS = $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
