Uninstalling Software from N6600

Hello,

Got a couple of questions about uninstallation:

1. What would you suggest as the best procedure to neatly uninstall software from a N6600?

2. How would you trace remaining files on the phone from old uninstalled programs?

Many thx in advance for your wisdom.
All the best.

The best procedure: Use the built-in "Manager" (Application Manager). Launch it, select the program you want to uninstall, hit Options, select Remove.

For installed themes, use "Themes". Launch it, make sure some other theme you don't want to delete is active (Options > Apply), and then Options, Remove.

To see if a poor installation script left something around, use FExplorer from http://www.gosymbian.com/

Don't delete anything you're not sure about.

When removing themes from your phone there will still be a load of tish in the skins directory in either c: or d: depending on where you installed it,delete all the folders in here WITHOUT an mbm file inside.
