Hi, just a quick question. I have only just recieved my phone, it is an upgrade from my 7650.
I see it has a similar screen saver on, that I am happy with, but just before this comes up, for about ten seconds, I get what seems to be another screen saver,
It is a landscape scene with moving clouds (it has an network logo on it so I guess it was installed by them) what controls this? Is it part of themes (these are new to me) or is it somewhere else? Can I choose a new one or get rid of it if I want? And can the normal screensaver be stopped so I just get this, if I so choose?

Ok, it seems no one can help.
With a bit of further investigation, it seems that the screen saver is part of a theme, but then why does the system screensaver bar (with date/time, messages etc..) kick in?
I can see the point in having both as you don't get to see the theme one really, it would be good just to switch one or the other off.
I think you have an Orange 6600 and the screen saver you see is part of Orange setting which cannot be deleted from your phone.
The only solution to remove it is to select on the Theme options the screen saver you want. By default it is the Orange one,

Yep it is an Orange 6600. That is one option, but what if I wanted it the other way around and show the sky screensaver and not the system text one? It seems to kick in anyway. Which one is the screensaver timing for, the theme or the system?

you can change the screen saver in the "themes menu" go to edit and change it
Thank you but like I said in the original post, if I select the sky screensaver it only shows for a few seconds and then the system one cuts in anyway, so it seems like a frustratingly pointless option :frown:
It doesn't seem to do it with the text option though :?
I too have seen the Orange screen saver on my friends phone, is it possible to transfer it to another phone ?
