How do I connect my 7650 to my laptop via Bluetooth so I can exchange & setup my contacts etc, save pictures etc..

you are so vague that i cant understand what you can or can't do... first of all... have you read the instructions?
Vague ! yes very vague to say the least ... my recomendation would be to try PC Suite for 7650 😉
Sorry I am using WinXP Pro, I can't get the Nokia suite to load up and Ii have a Cyber-Blue bluetooth (USB) adapter. my pc can see the phone, I don't know what to do next to transfer files or contacts etc, are there any walk through's available??? :-?

Use seleQ, you can transfer anything via bluetooth with that. I'm not sure if you can do contacts using the software provided with the phone. I maybe wrong though.

You can sync contacts and calendar with e.g. MS Outlook using the Nokia PC Suite. I have succesfully done this both in Win2k and WinXP Pro.

Unfortunately I can't help the original poster without some more information what he has already installed and done, what not, are there any error messages etc.

Every Bluetooth adapter seems to have a bit different setup process, but the basic idea is the same:

1) Install the BT adapter (drivers & software) and check what virtual COM ports are assigned for it
2) Configure virtual COM ports and other settings for the BT adapter
3) Install Nokia PC Suite for the 7650
4) Configure virtual COM port settings in the mRouter application that is isntalled with the PC Suite
5) When the link is active, start PC Suite.
