I've deceided the cause of all my BT problems is probably my crappy dongle (Mitsumi) so I'm going to get a new sparkly one.
Can people please post which dongle they have and feedback so I (and anyone else) can see which is indeed the best dongle for the 6600...

Mitsumi :icon13:
Partially works after a LOT of fiddling. Not very well though.

From my personal experience (i can't tell you what it is, but trust that i know...) Mitsumi dongle is a bitch to work with Nokia phones. I have tried several other brands and they worked just fine, even "white" ones. Actually, the only one i know by fact that has issues is the Mitsumi one 😞
I use a TDK Fone Styla, I have no problems what so ever.
The My Bluetooth Places software is very easy to us. I have used this product with all Nokia bluetooth enabled phones.

The features of most dongles will be similar, because most of them (large majority) uses the Widcomm drivers, so the functionality is exactly the same. Only difference is that some companies update their Widcomm based drivers more often.
