Hi,

When i get an sms the from field has *Last* Name first
When i send an sms the to field has *First* Name first
When i send an sms in reply of a received sms the to field has *Last* Name
first
When i get a delivery report the to field has the number only, no name.

My "sent" folder has a mix of First name and Last name first.

I'd like overything to have First name first.
Contacts settings are set to First name first.

Firmware version is 4.09.1

Anyone?

Tnx.

I had the same problem. In my case it was originated by the sinchro with MS-Outlook.

I could solve it in the MS-Outlook contact menu, choosing whether I wanted the Last Name + Name presentation option or viceversa. I had to do it 1 by 1, since some data was input via Outlook and others via N6600. Most mistakes were due to the fact that a phone input First Name + Last Name was alltogether understood by N6600 as the Name.

Hopefully, someone else will have a quicker method for you.

Strange ... I indeed sync with Outlook (XP)
Contact options in Outlook are set to Firstname Lastname
All my contacts in Outlook have Firstname first.
My contacts in 6600 all have Firstname first. So all fine.

However, example:

I send an sms to John Doe

-My sent folder has an entry for the sms sent to "John Doe" -> correct
-That same "John Doe" sends me an sms but i get an alert: new message from "Doe John" -> wrong.

John Doe shows Firstname first in Outlook and also in the 6600. Options in Outlook & 6600 are set to Firstname first.

I don't see what I can change in Outlook to solve this problem. It all seems OK.
Am i misunderstanding you?

i'm having the same problem and i dont even sync with outlook... any ideas how to fix this?
