Unless you're looking for a full blown PDA (in which case, save up some more for the 9210i), the 7650 is currently the best there is. You may want to wait for the 3650, or for any release announcements from Motorola and others, but if you're anything like me, you'll see the 7650 in the shop and do it on impulse.... 😃

Well I think i am set on a 7650.

My dad just came home with a new office phone today (6510) never heard of it, but the blue buttons were seriously sweet 😃

My bro will be with me tomorrow and I know he will persuade me not to go for the 7650, but to wait for the 7210. (I know they are different genre of phones, but they are both appealing dispite the different features).

3650 I'm not interested in. Ages till it pitches and I'd rather not carry a real brick in my pocket. Plus it looks like a kindergarden toy.

So what color backligt for the keys does the 7650 have?

I've had my phone for approx 2 weeks and I still love using it. I upgraded from my trusty 7110. The keys are illuminated pure white, looks dead classy.

The 7210? ugh I don't like the design, if you wanna go down that route (if your bro's powers of persuasion are that good 😉 ) then wait a couple of extra weeks and get the 6610. Identical innards just a more business like exterior.

Is it really that important to you? there just regular white colour.

When you get your hands on one, I dont think you'll even notice the keypad (I just had to look to check) you'll be too busy watching real player movies, recording video clips, playing 3D pool ect ect ect ect......

Unless you want to wait for the SE P800 (Which is more of a PDA) then the 7650 is the BEST phone out there in my opinion.

Why not get the 7650 on the net? Definitely cheaper than carphone warehouse...

Also check whethe the contractor will support all the features you are likely to use: GPRS, MMS HSCSD etc

and pick your image.

also you should have a bluetooth or infrared to transfer pictures and files from your pc.

Or simply set up an email account for your phone and transfer files that way. If you can't get IR/BT straight away.

mikeprice: 7650 has 20-something voice, i think 24 but dont quote me, it might be 22!
