R5B breaks voice dialing with the HBH-200 Bluetooth headset. :icon13:
Does this update enable the Call List for HBH-200?

Maybe you could check to see if that is the cause of the problem
this has been discussed earlier, voice tags are not deleted, but they are not Backup(ed)
as when you do your backup before updating, voice tags are not saved in the backup file, therefor the restore won't get them back, and you have to record them again! 😉
You two are exactly right - thanks!!! I forgot about that!
No other problems here, everything looks good.
Actually, one thing I did notice. With the new firmware, when I check my e-mails, if the GPRS connection is not on when I select "Get&Send" then it will automatically disconnect the GPRS immeadiately afterwards rather than waiting for the current timeout period of for me to disconnect it manually. Which is particularly usefull if you are checking with the flip closed, 'cause there doesn't seem to be a way to force GPRS to disconnect with the flip closed.

Well we just had a certified SE service center do all the upgrades you mention here.
Since: no more GPRS (which worked fine before the update), no more iSync (which worked fine before the update), no more BT connection possible (which worked fine before the update), supportpages on the P900: cannot connect any longer (phone reboots every 3 minutes since the update).
We had these P900's for 6 days now and seriously, this is the most expensive joke on the market today.
We're doing everything possible to have a refund on both phones!!
It took years to get me from Nokia to SE, and now, I remember why!

After the update did you do a restore.
My golden rule for upgrades, DO NOT RESTORE. You change the oil on your car, do you then put the old filter back in??? Nope.
You say the service centre done the upgrade for you, when you got it back did it have everything on?
First try a master reset, then install all your apps again. I have a sneaky thought that all will work again.

I actually have had no problems with the new update. That said, I noticed nothing has noticably changed either... visually or performance-wise. Of course with SE's helpful release notes there was no way to tell what had changed. For all we know they simply could have fixed a couple of spelling mistakes in the help file and upgraded the version number for "political" reasons.
I updated twice, the first time I did a restore with no problems, then the second time I did not do a restore, with no problems. I keep all my apps on the duo so no need to reinstall them all over again.
Regards,
Bateman

When we got it back, we had to reinstall everything but the Opera browser, all other soft was gone. I'll try the master reset then.
Could you try to connect to http://3gpp.telemak.com and play any 3gp or mp4 file in the VOD section. Packetvideo still keeps telling about the 'kernel 3' error. Any suggestions there (on upgrading the PV? I tried their website, but... only available on fine cell phones :s)

For me, update checking telling that 'R4B03' is the latest version. My CDA is 162004/8 R5A01 - just confused.
