A little help needed if you would.

Friend of mine recently brought to me an Ngage, the unit powers up, but does not run.

After pressing the power button, the Nokia logo appears, then the backlit screen comes on, the logo disappears and then the screen powers off again. This whole procedure lasts maybe 10 seconds.

I have tried with & without sim, without & without game card. Now I am at a loss as to the problem/solution.

Can anyone advise, returning unit to Nokia is not an option, as its 2nd user and therefore outside "warranty".

sorry this doesnt help you at all but this happens to me, only when ive got the mains charger plugged in ! if i unplug it or simply wait for it to go off and hold the button a tad longer it always works.

Thats an odd one for sure, not working on AC Charger.

I have tried with and without mains power, seems to make no difference.

Thanks for reply, maybe someone else will offer a solution for both of us.
