How do u save contacts to MMC ?
Only way with built-in software: Use the Memory app and its backup to memory card feature. The contacts are then not directly usable from the memory card, but you can restore the backup to the same or another similar phone.
Besides that, you need to find some program that can export the contacts to a separate file or something.
Why do you want to do it?

get a very fine nibbed pen and write really really really small on both side of the card.

U can't save/read you contacts to/from MMC.
U can only have a backup either with the built-in Backup feature (as N/A has already mentioned) or with 3rd party apps like message storer, message saver, or whatever.
what external software would u reccomend?
