I think I asked this before, but never got a straight answer....

You are able to place an image of a contact in contacts. But when that person calls you, does the image appear on screen when the phone rings.

Thanks

Yep. It works fine. Don't add an image to it by selecting the contact though. It has to be added by editing the contact and options->add thumbnail.

Bit of an odd design but *shrug*

Um... maybe the original poster was asking about a full-screen contact appearing. From what I know, the face of the contact appears in the small bubble at the bottom of the screen when the phone rings, it doesn't appear as a big full-screen picture.

..And make more sense. After all it still shows the name of the caller.
It's probably quicker to read and recognise the name rather than the teeny picture 😊

If you add a thumbnail to a contact it does show a small picture on ingoing and outgoing calls. However, the phone can be easily confused, if you add the same number to 2 contacts (I have this problem for my mother and younger sister who both use the same landline) then the phone will not display the picture, or even the name of the contact on incoming calls.
