i tried to install powerlock screen saver software since the day installed i got my fone so messed up..can any body help me please.my fone is 3650.first it completely shut down my fone then evry time i install it ut gives me a system error and no fuctions work execpt makin calls and recieving.i remove the memory card on which it is installed and things run just fine.help please. is it that too much of software messes up the fone.

When you uninstall the software, do the problems go away?
If so, forget about using that program. Do not reinstall it if the problems go away.

If you can browse the files by using a 3rd party softwares like "SeleQ"
Just delete the file System.INI from the root will solve most of the installation errors.

If reformating your fon by dialing *#7370#! it will restore your fon to its original settings! (*note: once you restore your fon to original settings all of your data installed in your fon will be lost) be sure to have at least 3 bars of battery power coz this will take some time to restore. Then restore the settings from your backup memory card(assuming you have one). But if you made a backup after you have installed the software the problem would just come back coz all the settings prior to installation will be installed again. So if you have a backup before you have installed the said software then the problem will be gone. If you have no backup then i suggest you transfer all your fonbook info into your pc via BT/IR or write it down to manually transfer all the data after restoration. 😊
well as psyph3r said you can do the same .. but while u clean up... format the memcard first then teh phone .. formatting teh phone first and leavin teh MMC unformatted mite cause the phone to hang .. i have seen this problem in 3650, 3660 and ngage ... duno if anyother phones have the same problem .. as for backing up you can use Oxygen Phone Manager for symbian phones or you can use PC suit .. i suggest OPM ..

forgot to tell u that one... (MC first b4 Phone) I had that problem where my phone freezed but luckily i managed to go to the apps manager and uninstalled every apps that i have in my MC! 😉
