Can't uninstall some apps from 6600

Can someone tell me why some apps have a red square and some apps have a blue square next to their names in the App Manager.

Because when I try to unistall the blue square apps I get an error message, 'App. closed ChildInstaller' and then I try to cancel the unistallation but it stiil tries to uninstall the app. So the only thing I can do is restart the phone.

Also when I try to run the blue square apps from the main menu I get the following error message, 'App. Closed AppArcServerThread', then it exits the app and returns to the main menu and all the icons are funny and sometime have no text. And the phone is slowed down, so I have to restart again.

Firmware - V3.42.1

Can anyone help?

Help will be greatly appreciated

I had a similar problem some time ago. In my case, I think that it was due to the fact that I installed the software by double clicking on the file in the PC N6600 suite, instead of uploading the file and installing it with the App Manager.

Nevertheless, I had to uninstall by deleting the files manually from the drive in which I installed the SW (used FExplorer, which I love). As usual, better think twice before deleting a file.

Good luck.

hi yasin

well the blue icon are for JAVA appliction or games
they are small in memory and many of then are install in 6600 but can't work
and even the phone remain silent abt the compatiblity

and the red icon are SIS appliction
they are know as mani applicton and when u open the app maneger u see frist JAVA APP and then after 2-5 sec SIS APP

and if uh any java app
frist unstall it then format MMC or Phone
and if the app is not unstalling
just put your important data to computer and format the mmc and phone

and remmber the procedure next time.
if u format the phone and have some app in mmc java app
they do not delet and can't bee seen on app manger
but they ocupies the space in mmc
and same in phone.
