Disappearing progam!

On the MMC card with my new 6600, I got lots of trial programs (mostly crap) and one I liked was Quickword. I went to the companies website and bought the product and with it came an e-mail with the registration code which I put in from the options screen on the phone. I got a quick message about software piracy authentication and I thought it would be on the phone.
But I can't find it! If I go to application manager, it is listed but all it shows me is the details and the certificate information. In the "try and buy" section, it is again listed but I get a list of aid and help documents, some in a foreign language.
Where is my application please? Do I have to download it from the Quickword website. I thought it would be on the MMC card in full.
Thanks
Doug

I have now transfered the .sis file by infrared to my phone and it came in as a text message. I clicked on it, it asked me about installing, where etc, I chose MMC and it went through the motions, after warnings about certificates, of installing it. It appears as a 1048K file in Application Manager but the only options available to me are view details or view certificate. There is no installation option. It does not appear on the MMC in File Manager either.
Please help me! I have only had this phone for two days after coming over from a SE P900 and I can't believe it is this difficult.

:?

I have found the program in both application Manager and in the Try and Buy folder but on trying to open it, I get the message " Application Key Manager corrupted. Exiting application". I have tried to uninstall this AKM but get told it is corrupted and won't allow me to do it. I have tried to reinstall it but, as part of the process, it tries to uninstall the old one and then tells me again it is corrupted. That's as far as it gets!
I have tried to find this program using FExplorer but cannot find it. Any idea where it is, either in RAM or on the MMC?
Also on another tack, I keep getting messages saying that I cannot receive Sim messages as I do not have enough memory. Again using FExplorer, I seem to have enough on C:\, D:\ and E:\ drives. What does this mean?
:frown:

I am about to give up! I formatted the phone and the MMC and then installed Quickword and App Key Manager using PC Suite. It reappeared in the Try and Buy folder and in Application Manager. I then put the unlock code in and it said it would send a SMS to authenticate something. It sent the SMS, I got the default two bleeps back but there was nothing in the SMS inbox, in fact, there was nothing anywhere!
On trying to run the program from the Try and Buy folder, I get a message "App closed - main!" and sat behind it are six ?Word files, two in english and four foreign. And that's it......
What is happening? I have been in dialogue with IGo who make the software but they can't even find my registration email and not really too helpful.
Any ideas please, I wouldn't mind if this was freeware or sharewhere but I paid for this product.

Wow, you must be the first one to open a thread and post in the first four messages 😃

Why don't you try to install it from the PC Suite. Just double click on the .sis file on the upper window, and it will perform a secure installation. Let me know whether it works.

If you are coming from a SE P900, you can at least, for the time being, enjoy your alarm when the phone is off 😃
