Installing software

I'm new to the whole smart phone thing so pls bear with me.

There's an application(Applications/Tools) on my 3650 that can install or uninstall software, but doesn't seem to work when I copy softwares onto my mmc and try to install them using the application. Do I need a data suite (I bought a bluetooth adaptor) to do this?

Any reply would be much appreciated.

I think it will not work on just putting your softwares on the mmc because you needed to change the file name such that your software can be accessible by the phone. you can try this because i already done this and it works. for example you have a software that has an ext. of *.sis, make another copy of it and change that sis into jpg. then put it in the image directory of your mmc. then create a new e-mail(go messaging>create new message>e-mail). press option then insert the image (software) you want to install(the one that you had changed earlier). your phone will able to read the data and press option then press open. your phone will ask you if you want to install the file and of course press yes. voila. by the way if you have not configure your email, fust put anything on it. the point is that you just want to install your file ryt!
