mRouter ... "Internal Error 413 ..."

Features of my machine as follows:
McAFee Antivirus + Firewall
Windows XP Professional
Office 2003

My Phone: P900

When I tried to install my PC SUITE, a message appears "Internal Error 413: could not create instance of mRouter Access Point, restart computer. If the problem persists please reinstall"

Since I could not synchronyze the PC with my phone I uninstalled the McAfee Antivirus, and tried again to install the PC Suite. It has worked then.

But, when I installed the antivirus on top of PC Suite, the message appears again.
"Internal Error 413: could not create instance of mRouter Access Point, restart computer. If the problem persists please reinstall"

What can I do?

Suddenly today, without any installation, I have got the same ERROR 413 and since then I cannot connect the net.

Any advice ?

Try updating to the latest PC SYNC software from SonyEricsson web site

I have the same problem, mRouter seems to start on its own and I cannot kill it in the task manager. Awful, I will have to make a fresh install of XP. Problem begun when I installed my Polar IR sensor, but even after uninstall and reinstall of mRouter its still the same.

This is quite amazing. I have the same problem too.

My phone - P800

It synchronized fine with my desktop computer until today. got the same error message and since then I get 'Synchronization Fail' everytime I try to sync the phone. I updated the software already but no good.

Same here seems to coincide with the latest updates of win XP that I automatically downloaded, is it a link?

solution:
FIREWALL: go to your firewall configuration, find "mRouter Access Point "-> set it to "permit all", then will work! good luck guys!

What can I do?

Make sure that the "Alerter" Service is running in the Services panel.
Looks that mrouter needs that to run.
