thanks for your reply, but am not very sure!
it's an internal infrared, on a HP laptop.
but can't seem to get it activated (using Windows ME)

not very sure how to get to download stuff to my mobile?

have u installed the pc suite then set the pc suite setting to use the Infrared port

then if you want to send some midi or picture just right click and send via infrared recipient

btw i also using the internal Ir with my toshiba laptop

I notice there is loads of simlar posts all over this forum, I think a 7650 FAQ would be nice.

i did install pc suite, but then can't let me enter cos my phone can't talk to the IR port..

something must be wrong with the settings (from windows) for the ir port..

says wireless link (in the control panel)..

nahh....

there is a Mrouter thingy on your taskbar right ???

open the Mrouter and set your default Ir port for the pc suite to use the Ir
