Lost Agenda entries

My P900 has a hidden PA function and sometimes clears entries from my Agenda - presumably using some kind of internal priority.

But seriously, I thought I was going senile until I saw that this had also happened to SymbianAdvisor ("forgetful" P900 posting around 22-01-04). I suspect it is related also to the problem highlighted by JulesG (2 copies of Agenda posting on 12-12-03). But the first had no replies and the second didn't mention any problems arising as a result.

Having checked with file manager, I do indeed have 2 copies of agenda, one in \documents\agenda and the other in \startup. But how does the P900 decide which one to open?

Yikes!! I just went to check the folders and the startup folder has gone! Am I going mad? Someone please save me.

By the way, I have Tracker demo version set to launch at startup - could this be part of the problem?

Paul.

Does the lack of replies mean that nobody else has problems with conflicting copies of Agenda in \Startup and \documents\agenda ??

As far as I can make out it's a problem with synching with Outlook. I never had this problem synching with Notes or Organiser. As soon as I started synching with Outlook, whenever I turn the phone off and on, it seems to loose any appointments synched over to the phone from Oulook.

It's a major pain in the arse. Especially give that this then seems to tell the synch software that the record was last updated (i.e. deleted) on the phone, and so removes the entries from Outlook as well next time you synch.

I curse the day my company turned to the darkside by going from Lotus to Microsoft. Outlook is a huge pile of crap on it's own, and the SE synch software seems to make things even worse.
