well i just got my ngage today
i have a few questions im hoping for some help
1. Ive stumbled across a few threads in which many people stated that their MMC cards ended up being curropted while they were trying to install some music. How can i prevent this from happening??
2. How do i send pictures from my computer to my ngage?
3. Is it true that u can use mp3s as ring tones how is this done???

First of all, you don't have to excuse that you are a new user. We all started as newbies someday 😉
1. I don't know about this problem. Maybe their cards were too great. You should only put a 256 MB card at the most.
2. You can send pictures via bluetooth or infrared to your mobile (Bluetooth or infrared-adaptor needed). If you installed the software properly, you can send a file by clicking with the right mouse button on it. Or you can just save it on your MMC in the /images directory with a cardreader (if you have one).
3. Yes, you can use a mp3 as a ringtone. the mp3 has to be saved in the /sounds/digital folder (if you send the file via bt or ir, this is automatically done).

Bluetooth is a short-range radio technology. Original intention: cable (and infrared) replacement between connected devices (like PC's, PDA's, phones, printers, keyboards, mice, etc.).
Many phones have Bluetooth built in. Some laptop PCs have it too. For those PC's that don't have it, you can buy Bluetooth adapters where PC stuff is generally sold (in brick & mortar stores and webstorers, mail order catalogs, etc.).
